ABOUT CTLC and CGB

Consolidated Terminals and Logistics Company (CTLC) is a division of Consolidated Grain and Barge Co. (CGB).  From its inception, CTLC initially focused on moving freight from north to south on the inland waterways of the United States. It has since expanded its services and markets it serves. CTLC’s North Bend Terminal operates on the Ohio River West of Cincinnati, and handles a variety of bulk products including aggregates, minerals, agricultural products and more. North Bend Terminal is serviced by both the CIND and CSX railroad and is located at Mile Marker 487 on the Ohio River.

 

CGB is a wholly owned subsidiary of CGB Enterprises, Inc., which, through its subsidiaries, operates over 125 grain facilities with access to barge, rail and/or truck across the Midwest and beyond. In addition to grain facilities, the company has sizable operations in logistics and transportation, agri-finance, soybean processing, producer risk management, and other related businesses. Locally, CGB operates two-grain facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio and a facility in Aurora, Indiana.


RECENT NEWS AND EVENTS ABOUT CTLC and CGB

Covington, LA – CGB Enterprises, Inc. (CGB), a leader in the grain and transportation industries since 1969, today announced that Kevin Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer, plans to retire on May 31, 2022. Current Chief Operating Officer, Eric Slater, will succeed Adams as CEO on June 1, 2022.

 

Kevin Adams joined CGB in 1986 and has been the company’s CEO for nearly 20 years. During his tenure as CEO, the company experienced tremendous growth, expanding from approximately 30-grain elevators to over 100 while also growing its complementary businesses including transportation and logistics, soybean processing, risk management and agri-finance.

CGB and CTLC have had a history as members of CORBA, but have recently renewed membership as of May of this year.

CORBA is a natural fit for our organization as we are community- focused, and rely on the support and services of several CORBA members in our day-to-day operations.
