As one of the founding members of CORBA, McGinnis, Inc. has been a staunch supporter of this organization. I have personally served on the Board for the entire time except for a two- year hiatus. Even then, I worked as an advisor and continued to co-chair the annual golf outing.

Pushing Commerce, the slogan for CORBA is what this association is all about. From expanding the Port to initiating the CORIS website to working with businesses and governmental agencies, every effort has been a step toward accomplishing that simple message.

Through all of these efforts, this organization has grown from approximately 10 members to 70 members. Each member brings something to the table, and we need to continue to expand that base and bring in fresh ideas and perspectives.

McGinnis, Inc. is proud to be a part of this association and will continue in our efforts to Push Commerce in this region.

Cincinnati Bulk Terminals, LLC

As CORBA celebrates its 10-year anniversary, Cincinnati Bulk Terminals LLC is very appreciative of the continued efforts to promote the marine industry of our region. The organization has grown in many ways that has helped reach well beyond our geographical port boundaries with a single voice for the region. Here’s to the next 10 years!

Jack Weiss

President

Brown Transport, Inc.

Brown Transport has elected to join Corba because we wish to support a business organization that consists of customers and river terminals. Brown Transport has picked up or delivered bulk commodities to and from all of the river terminals in the Cincinnati area for over 40 years. River commerce has been an important part of our business over the years.

Mickey Brown,

President

Benchmark

Benchmark’s ownership has a strong sense of community and a strong commitment to support and promote the industries in which they operate.  With no other local entity advocating for the maritime industry in the Greater Cincinnati region, it is essential that the maritime-dependent industry band together to create a voice and advocate for and on behalf of each other.  CORBA has created that place and has been tireless in its efforts to create the needed visibility for our otherwise low-key industry.  CORBA’s advocacy and industry promotion is highly valued.

Eric Thomas

General Manager

Campbell Transportation Company

CTC is always evaluating organizations and events that will help customers understand the value we can bring to their business. We have a strong presence in the Cincinnati area so joining CORBA allows CTC a great platform to sell our services, provide marine industry insight, and learn from other members & speakers.

Todd Williams

Director of Sales

F&M MAFCO

F&M MAFCO saw the value of building relationships within the CORBA organization, maintained our membership, and got others within F&M MAFCO to become involved.

Cincinnati Barge & Rail Terminal

We believe maritime commerce is vital to our mid-western region’s economy. CORBA is a viable instrument that “gets the word out” not only to prospective world-wide customers but also to city and state leaders who understand the member companies provide well-paid employment opportunities as well as a tax base where they operate.

Jeffrey Stewart

Vice President

Evergreen AES

Evergreen AES foresaw the future value of CORBA and became the first environmental company to become a member of CORBA

ODOT

The Ohio DOT values the partnership, innovation and organizational leadership that CORBA provides for the Ohio River. CORBA was a key partner during the Ohio Conference on Freight and was used as the gold standard while forming two additional Ohio River Business Associations which now come together as one ORCO to advocate, educate and inform others of the value of Ohio River commerce. CORBA initiated the Ohio River Economic Impact Study, a first of its kind; and the OKI/CORBA CORIS is so successful, that efforts are underway to expand it to the entire Ohio River system.
