ARCOSA Marine is a manufacturer of hopper, tank, and deck barges, as well as fiberglass barge covers. Arcosa Marine serves a diverse set of commodities including dry products, liquids, and other bulk cargo with a proven ability to deliver products at a rate the industry demands. Operating under the NABRICO® brand and the WINTECH brand, Arcosa Marine provides a full line of deck hardware including hatches, castings, and winches for all types of vessels and dock facilities.

Arcosa Marine operates barge manufacturing facilities in Ashland City, TN, Caruthersville, MO and Madisonville, LA - located on inland waterways in the South and Midwest, enabling rapid delivery to our customers. We are always updating our equipment, training our workforce, and enhancing our production processes to ensure we continue to lead.

ARCOSA Marine recently completed the first special purpose built 200’ x 70’ hopper barge to move containers.  With the “Container on Barge” (COB) investments being made, ARCOSA built these barges to help foster development of more COB movement on the inland waterways.  We decided to not just talk about it so we built two so people can put them to work. This special barge takes the place of two traditional 200’ x 35’ barges in any hopper barge tow but allows for an additional forty (40’) containers in the same area in a tow.

We have heard people talk about this dynamic group for a few years.  Since the ARCOSA name is new, the shipyards and people have been in the industry for years under previous names, we wanted to get more involved in active groups that help promote the river industry.  CORBA fit that role.
