Maritime Administration (MARAD) Webcast “FY23 Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP)”

Please join the Maritime Administration (MARAD) for several upcoming webcasts it will host on the FY23 Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP). The following upcoming webcasts are designed to inform potential applicants about the application process and program requirements:

“How to Apply for a Port Infrastructure Development Grant” Webcast

  • Join MARAD for a webcast on February 15th from 1:00 – 3:00PM Eastern. The PIDP is a discretionary grant program administered by MARAD, for which funds are awarded on a competitive basis to projects that improve the safety, efficiency, or reliability of the movement of goods into, out of, around, or within a port. This will be an explanatory webinar on the process of applying for a FY 2023 PIDP grant and will provide an overview of the application criteria described in the Notice of Funding Opportunity. The webcast will include a Q&A session after the presentation where viewers can pose questions. Please register to access the webcast on our PIDP webpage.

“Preparing a Benefit-Cost Analysis for a Large Project” Webcast

  • Please join the Department of Transportation on March 2nd from 1:00 – 3:00PM Eastern for a webcast on the process for developing a Benefit-Cost Analysis for a “Large Project” FY23 PIDP grant. The webcast will include a Q&A session after the presentation where viewers can pose questions. Please register to access the webcast on our PIDP webpage.

“Economic Vitality: Small Projects at Small Ports” Webcast

  • Join MARAD on March 8th from 1:00 – 3:00PM Eastern for a webcast to inform potential grant applicants, specifically small project applicants, on how an economic vitality analysis under the FY23 Port Infrastructure Development Program will be conducted. The webcast will provide an overview of the 2023 economic vitality criteria. It will include a Q&A session after the presentation where viewers can pose questions. The PIDP 2023 Funding Opportunity is available here. The deadline for applications is 11:59 PM EST on April 28, 2023.
